A Bizarre Kind of Night

One thing I love about New York is that when you wake up in the morning, you just never know how the day is going to end up.

I woke up this morning expecting to go to work, come home, and do a bit of reading.

Instead, I ended up at the Waldorf Astoria, surrounded by 40 heads of state and government, and ended the evening with the following conversation.

Me: Hi, It’s a real honor to meet you.

Kenny G: Thanks

Me: My mom is a huge fan.

Kenny G: <laughing> Thanks.

Talk about a back-handed compliment. Turns out, Kenny G is a good sport.
