It’s in times like these when I feel especially helpless. I can’t be there, I can’t do anything but pray for the Haitian people.
Many of the dead are children.
In the face of the such devastation and human misery, we as people of faith or people of conscience are morally bound to do what we can. I understand fully the limits of human empathy, but now is not the time of that conversation.
We all have a little money. Let’s do what we can and what we should.
